
Taiga Karé is the first restaurant specialized in serving Japanese curry in Montreal. A subsidiary of the Imadake Japanese Pub, Taiga Kare was born as an exclusive online takeout experience.
We take pride in making our curry entirely from scratch. From the roasting of spices to the careful simmering of our rich broth, our craft is inspired from international flavors. Made with love, our Japanese curry is the perfect harmony of traditional and modern techniques.

Our house original Curry combines a rich assortment of Japanese spices, chicken & pork broth, simmered for over 6 hours. Our Curry’s achieve a dark hue packed full of the familiar taste of traditional Japanese Curry through this intensive process. *Vegan Version Available
This Thai-inspired red curry is made of traditional dried red chilli peppers, lemongrass, garlic, shallot, kaffir, coconut milk, lime zest, and spices. *Vegan Version Available
Our Thai-inspired Yellow Curry is made of Dried red chili from Thailand, lemongrass, garlic, shallot, turmeric, tamarind, coconut milk, and other Thai spices. *Vegan Version Available

Spicy and salty fermented cabbage. This Korean side dish has a tangy character which pairs perfectly with our curry.
